The internationally-known firm of Duany Plater-Zyberk master-planned The Village. Andres Duany and DPZ have received hundreds of awards. Duany was recognized in 2004 by Builder Magazine as among the 50 most influential people in home building, the ranks of which included economists, bankers, and developers, as well as architects, planners, and builders. Duany was ranked after Alan Greenspan, Franklin Rainee, George W. Bush, and Jerry Howard, earning Duany the distinction of being the top ranking individual from the private sector. At The Village, we have had the honour of working with Andres Duany and his team to see The Village come to life.
